Introducing PingSentry: Uptime Monitoring Without the Enterprise Bloat

If you've tried to set up uptime monitoring recently, you've probably run into one of two problems: the free tools are too limited to be useful, and the good tools cost $100/month and are designed for companies with a dedicated DevOps team.

We built PingSentry because neither option is right for the majority of developers and small teams shipping web products.

The problem with the current landscape

Free tiers from most monitoring tools check your site every 5 minutes. That means a service can be down for 4 minutes and 59 seconds before anything is detected. Free — 10 monitors, 5-minute checks, email alerts. Good for personal projects and side projects where you just need basic coverage.
Team ($12/mo) — 25 monitors, 1-minute checks, Slack and Discord alerts, 90-day history. Right for a small team with a handful of production services.
Business ($39/mo) — Unlimited monitors, 30-second checks, all alert channels, 1-year history. For teams that need full coverage and fast detection.
